# Switching to the Beta

The Fluid Beta allows you to experience our latest features before they're released to the public. This will also help us catch bugs before release, making for a smoother user experience all around.

Beta builds are non-final and may contain bugs, which can cause Fluid to crash. Make sure to regularly save your work to avoid data loss. If you encounter any bugs while using the beta, we recommend reporting them in the #beta-bugs channel on our Discord Server.

### Find Fluid in your installed Apps list and click on it

### On the App page for fluid, click on "Release Channels".

### Finally, select the "Public Beta" Release Channel.

3. Click scroll and click on "Fluid"

4. Click on Release Channels

5. Switch to either "BETA" or "LIVE"

## Using the Meta Website

Open the [Meta Store Page for Fluid](https://www.meta.com/experiences/6946182742093178/) and scroll down to "Version". Click the dropdown to switch between the beta and live versions of the app.
