Using a physical keyboard is by far the best way to work in Fluid. Physical Keyboards allow you to type faster and more accurately than floating keyboards, improving speed and accuracy.
Fluid currently supports a few Keyboard Layouts for external keyboards, including Bluetooth and wired. It is important to note that these layouts currently do not apply to the in-app floating keyboard, but that feature is in the works.
If you'd like to request new keyboard layouts, please do so on our .
To use a keyboard shortcut, press and hold one or more modifier keys and then press the last key of the shortcut. For example, to use Command-C (copy), press and hold the Command key, then the C key, then release both keys.

On Windows keyboards, the modifier keys are (from left to right) Ctrl, Windows, and Alt. On Mac keyboards, the keys are Ctrl, Option, and Command. In Fluid, the Windows key and the Command key perform the same function.

To Fullscreen a window, go to the menu in the top right and click "Fullscreen".
Control - Tab
Cycle between tabs in the focused window. Hold shift to reverse.
Alt - Tab
Change focused Window. Hold shift to reverse.
Control - N
Open a new window.
Control - T
Open a new tab in the focused window.
Control - W
Close the currently active tab in the focused window.

Scroll with mouse motion (for Apple peripherals)
