Remote Desktop

Alongside running apps natively, Fluid allows you to access your computer through Chrome Remote Desktop. All you need is a Chromium based browser on your computer and a google account that you can sign into on both your computer and in Fluid.

Setting up Chrome Remote Desktop

Setup on your PC

1. On your computer, open your chromium based browser.

2. In the address bar, enter https://remotedesktop.google.com/

3. Under “Set up Remote Access,” click Download .

4. Follow the onscreen directions to download and install Chrome Remote Desktop.

5. You may have to enter your computer password to give Chrome Remote Desktop access.

Setup in Fluid

1. Click on the Remote Desktop app in the dock or enter https://remotedesktop.google.com/ into the address bar.

2. Sign into the google account you used to setup Chrome Remote Desktop on your computer.

3. Click Access to select which computer you want.

4. Enter the PIN required to access another computer.

5. Select the arrow to connect.
